Without a doubt the Joker has to be a boss battle I mean he's the one running the show most likely the final boss
the Joker will be playable only on the PS3 I'm not sure if you have to beat the game first or not, probably

I would think so because you have to capture him and put him back in his cell.
You also get to play as him to in story as soon as you beat the story as Batman then the Joker is unlocked
