Why do you think Batman video games tend to do better than Superman video games?

For the same reason that Batman stories are more often better than Superman stories.





Superman is almost unbeatable. Batman is a human. No matter what equipment he uses, no matter who he faces, Batman is more vulnerable. Batman is also a character that more people can relate to. Many more people in the world can relate to anger, vengeance and justice than can relate to near invincibility. Therefore more people can write intriguing Batman stories than can write intriguing Superman stories.





It's harder for people to write Superman as a character that has to 'overcome' than it is for Batman. It doesn't mean B-man is a better character, it just means people need to really try hard in order to do the same for Superman.





Waiting................... For a great Superman video game or movie, needs to happen.|||I say that it is based on a couple things.





1. With the recent success of "The Dark Knight" companies have started to invest in Batman alot more. This means that companies are putting out more money for video games featuring "The Bat" then SM.





2. BM makes for a much more relatable, dark, and deeper character. Also, see as BM is just a man with unique gadgets it is much easier to balance his abilities into a video game (i.e. Splinter Cell-like, MGS-like, etc.) then SM who possesses enhanced strength, speed, durability, heat vision, freezing breath, heck the list goes on and on.





3. SM's popularity while still going is as solid as it used to be. While with the recent movies, etc BM has become extremely popular. Since BM has become a popular character in today's community when a game as good BM: AA comes out people will go on and on about it in the video game industry. Kind of Twilight is in with female readers and thus anything involving it is posted and stated everywhere a million times.|||Because superman has powers and is a boyscout, Batman has no powers, is a Badass who uses fear and gadgets along with Batman's modern day costume doesn't look has bad as Sups. Also Batman's games are a lot darker and more violent.|||Supes has SOO many options, that it's probably a struggle to make an enjoyable game when your protagonists is basically Jesus 2.0





Batman usually includes a deeper story, and more satisfying uses of his abilities.|||Becuse get a life.
