How to beat lego Batman the video game?

Ok, I am doing the mission to chase down the Scarecrow in the bat plane. I am at the part with the pipe with pillars of flame coming from it. I have shot absolutely everything in that area. How do I get past the flames??? There is a shiny box there, but I have nothing to blow it up with, as torpedos do nothing to it. Please Help!

I got stuck on the same thing yesterday!







You have to take Robin's Batcopter and shoot at the silver box.







After you destroy it there should be a small mine.

Fire a harpoon line at it and carry it to the pipe.



Try to get the mine to crash into the pipe by swinging it around.





The pipe should blow up and you can get past it.

How to beat lego Batman the video game?
I found out...you have to fly the Batcopter to do this.



Right after you pass through the billboard at the beginning, there are 2 of those guns you have to destroy with your torpedoes. Between them is a big silver-ish box that you can shoot at. If you fly the Batcopter by it, there will be green arrows around it and you can use your grappling hook to pick up the missles. Fly close to the pipe with the fire, and yellow arrows will appear. If you aim the missle just right, it will be thrown into the pipe and blow it up!How to beat lego Batman the video game?
you have to switch to robin in the bat copter. go back and get a lend mine thing then go over by the pipe and yellow arrows will appear. use the land mine to blow up the pipe by placeing it in those yellow arrows. hope that helps.
