What is the best way to play pc games on a free os?

i normaly spend 拢200 on my self at x-mas as a present but i all ways loved pc gaming.But i am buying a pc off ebuyer but with no oprating systeam so what would i need to play pc games such as batman arham city (when it comes out) ,minecraft and mass efect?

There are a few games that will run on the Linux Kernel but not that many. There is a fundamental difference in the way graphics are handled in Windows and "other" Operating Systems and the game makers are not releasing that many games written to cope with Linux or any other free OS. So you may be wise biting the bullet so to speak and get a copy of Windows, if you get the ebuyer unit you will find that they will either install or supply W7 at less than their own advertised retail price.What is the best way to play pc games on a free os?
